The Palm Sunday Street Parade

“A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road” (Matthew 21:8). The image of Jesus and his followers approaching Jerusalem with crowds lining the streets, shouting and waving palm branches and throwing their cloaks on the road got me thinking about modern day parades.
